WAYS AND MEANS TO RAISE YOUR VIBRATION AND USING PROTECTION
Life is something to be cherished and honored so make the best of it.
To get started with the new you, find out what is important in your life and promise yourself for the next week or so that you will never feel guilty or put blame on yourself for wanting to change the way you live and feel. This should concern yourself and not others. We all have free will and we all need to walk our own true spiritual path. Also it is good to make contact with the right people that can help you and often some of these ‘like minded’ people just might want to get involved in some your projects that may be good for them as well, especially if it is for a good cause. The more of these great people that you find inspiring and resourceful and want to help you, the easier it is for you to move ahead in the world. Remember never let go of your dreams, as they are the driving force for you to create your divine life and live your life to the fullest.
One of the most important keys for eliminating insecurities and establishing a habit of self-love is the use of affirmations. These really work, because they raise your vibration and especially when said in front of the mirror because you express them to your eyes, the window of the soul.
Affirmations are known as food for the soul and just expressing loving words loudly and clearly reinstates who we want to be in our eyes. Through affirmations we can think ourselves healthier, have a healthy and happy love life, improve toxic relationships by having the confidence to walk away, feel confident and accomplish everything we ever dreamt about.
Here are a few affirmations that may work for you:

Once used everyday these simple affirmations will become part of your mindset and can never be taken from you, as they will open a new reality you only once dreamt about.
2) ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE AWARE OF YOUR THOUGHT FORMS
Be careful what you wish for because you might just create it because at the end of the day everything you think, say or feel becomes your reality. How easy is it to put yourself down. We all do it and it old programs we have carried since we were little. Sometimes we forget about out negative monkey chatter in our heads, but at the end of the day they always seem to take over and sabotage a lot of things for us, no matter how hard we try and change. How many times do you hear people say, you are always walking up a mountainside and nothing changes, no matter what you do on a conscious level? For example if you keep saying you are stupid or fat, people will look at you like that.
The first step is positive thinking and never letting another negative thought about yourself enter your head. Believe it or not the ‘power of positive thinking is an incredible force’ as it affects everything that is going on in your life. If you take the time to think about it, we are the creators of our own destiny as we are all made up of energy and are natural transmitters that draw our experiences to us. The golden rule is to take personnel responsibility to change the energy you constantly draw in your life. We are made up and carry so many emotions, which affects everything that happens to us in our life. The energy is designed to flow in and out like your breath, but sometimes it can get stuck. The Law of Attraction is based on the concept that like attracts like, that positive energy attracts positive energy. If you can train your mind to think positive thoughts, then you will attract more positive energy into your life.
Positive thinking takes practice. Start by observing your own self-talk, and be aware of what you say to people and how you think. If it’s negative, replace it with something positive. As you go about your day be aware of your thoughts and attitude. If you catch yourself thinking something negative, sweep it away and replace it with something positive. Positive thinking is not about ignoring the more challenging aspects of life, it’s about approaching all situations in a positive and productive way.
3) LEARN TO SMELL THE ROSES
How many of us spend most of our lives running around in circles. For years I worked in psychic fairs and felt like I was in Roller Blade, spinning around and around the circuit, getting psychically attacked by other psychics and trying to help and see as many people as I could. One year I got whooping cough for four months and was sick as a dog. On reflection it was an incredible reality check with the universe, banging me on the head and staying stop, you need to do the things you really love like working in my own office, playing my drums, looking at the beauty in all things, performing spirit shows by myself as the right people will come, teaching and indulging more in my love of writing, which is a wonderful way to share knowledge you accumulate throughout the years and to be dangerously creative. Not long after I withdrew from all the festivals and started to take time out on weekends to spend time with the husband, go on long walks in nature, visit friends and just take my foot off the accelerator.
4) GIVE THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE WITH A GRATITUDE LIST.
Quite often we just take things for granted and have no idea what we have accomplished or achieved in our lives. When you sit down and really think about it, you will be surprised how far you have come and best of all how well you have been able to move on and basically just get on with your life no matter how hard the nightmare has been. After working overseas for many years in Norway, my younger years, I decided to divorce my first love, my abusive husband and have a new life back in my own country. It was hard to say the least, as everything I had worked hard for and accumulated in my lovely flat had to be left behind. The only possessions I ended up owning in those days was a second hand stroller, a few clothes, like a pair of black leather jeans with a few tee shirts and my electric bass guitar, which got me through so many things in those days. My life did not improve for a long time when I arrived back and I was lonely and a pariah to most of my girl friends who had partners. I ended up basically having to reinvent myself, having no money and living on spam in those days but I managed to move and was just grateful for the a new beginning and opportunities to re educate myself and move on a small daughter. Every time the guy would go to work he would reeve up his car and the smell of petrol would waft through the window and linger in the small two-room bed-sitter where I was living at the time
5) BE AWARE OF YOUR DIET
My husband, being typical Greek and very aware of fresh produce and olive oil of food is always saying ‘if you eat crap all the time, you will end up looking like it.’ The worst thing you can indulge in, even though a quick fix and may look for one second delicious, is in fast fried and greasy foods or processed foods with heaps of chemicals in them. Its no wonder they are so many people that suffer from allergies, or serious illnesses these days. Make sure you make a point to really read the label on the foods you buy in the markets and always include plenty of fruit, salads and vegetables in your diet. When you eat living or light food with good quality organic produce, food as nature intended it, you will certainly feel the high vibrations disseminate throughout your body. Years ago I worked as a nursing sister for a railway company. I was amazed at how many people used to come in complaining of constipation, headaches and obesity. When I asked what they ate for the usual three meals a day, I nearly fell over backwards when I was told continually sausage three meals a day, with no vegetables, fruit or salad. Have you ever heard of the say ‘you are what you eat.’I also make it a habit to bless my food everyday and pay attention to how my body feels after I have eaten. Make sure you also watch your alcohol intake and drink at least eight glasses of water a day to keep your body and skin hydrated.
6) MEDITATE DAILY
Meditating for at least twenty minutes a day should be an integral part of our busy life as without a doubt it is an energy boost and clears your mind and energy on every level. Just taking twenty minutes out of your busy day, to meditate is equivalent to four hours sleep on the theta level, so you will feel full of energy. I always remind people to make it a rule to close down all your chakras or energy points after you work with people or meditate. This is a good way to protect yourself so you are not open to negative forces.
Another way is prayer. By simply saying the Lord’s Prayer, or calling on your guides. Loved ones in spirit, loving angels for assistance around yourself you will always be protected. When you learn to sit in daily meditation and work with spirit, your awareness will increase and your vibration will rise to a higher level or frequency. You will no longer be attracted to people that are not on your vibration or energy level and will have less of the psychic attack that does go on, as you become stronger against the lower vibrations people’s energy or vibrations
8) SHARING IS CARING
When you give to others you are creating positive and good karma. It also makes you stop thinking of your own needs and gets you out of the poor me mentality. Beautiful acts of kindness, not only to yourself but others is one of the best ways to really lift your vibration. It makes you feel good and believe it or not the karma will be returned to you tenfold. Instead of talking about others, gossiping for hours on the phone or putting people down out of spite is a waste of energy and a real downer.
How good is exercise. Not only does it boost your mood, helps with physical activity, improve our weight, give you more energy and years, clear your head, it will improve your sex life and make you feel like a million dollars ready to take on the world. There are just too many pluses to ignore.No matter what your current weight, being active boosts high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or “good,” cholesterol and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This one-two punch keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases.
10) PSYCHIC PROTECTION
White energy or the power of love itself is the most powerful energy in the world and universe. By simply wrapping white light around your bed, yourself, children, pets, family and earthly possessions you will always have protection. When I need extra protection I always use purple and gold like the sun for that little bit extra, which I wrap around the light when around toxic people or difficult situations. Years ago when I was a young medium I was always being attacked or affected by spirits waking me up in the middle of the night or touching me to get my attention. This went on for years and the only way to stop it was by putting the light on as this would act as a deterrent. When I first joined the spiritualist church a very kindly medium took me under her guardianship and explained how the white light works and how it can protect you from everything negative in the universe. This was something I will never forget and still use to this day. When I am feeling extra sensitive or have to work with other psychics that are not on my wavelength I will use an extra layer of blue to cloak myself. Not everyone is who he or she says they are as there is so much jealousy in the world today.
11) USE A SYMBOL
Some people I know may use a symbol. I tried this once as it works with intention but found it did nothing for me, as I still felt sick, was in tears after my shift in the job I was working in and drained of energy. Also crystals do nothing for me either, although I love them and wear them all the time, because they are just transmitters of energy and if anything I found they just amplified the fear I was feeling. I once also used to wear a cross around my neck, thinking this was a good way of protection but I found out to my horror it was ripped off my neck one day when doing a spirit rescue and the tiny beads just popped off my neck and fell to the floor to the horror of my clients that screamed in fear when they saw this.
12) USING A MIRROR
Shielding your energy is good as well. Some people I know use a type of reflective mirror, which sends, back the energy from where it has come.If I am in a room, which may have a spirit in it or a bad energy, I will always sage or smoke out the room with gum leaves and sage from a smudge stick. This is very effective and always works for cleansing a space and getting rid of a menacing spirit that keeps lingering around as the smoke makes the spirit sick and weakens them. I also have used this smoking technique on my aura and used the smoke to cleanse.
I also like to use a mirror for affirmations. This is a Louise Hay technique and works wonders as the eyes are the windows of the soul

13) WEAR A PROTETIVE AMULET
Years ago a well -known psychic told me she always wore an amulet around her neck for protection. At first I thought this was ridiculous as I had never heard of such things, but it didn’t take me long to realize its not just about love and light in our industry and there are without a doubt a lot of jealous people out there some with mental issues.An amulet is an object you always keep with you to protect yourself from bad energy, hexes and curses. Keeping an amulet with you can weaken the effect of a curse or hex so that it can no longer harm you.An amulet can be any object that has powerful meaning and is sacred to you. A special piece of jewellery, a shell from your favourite beach, or even a length of ribbon you wore in your hair as a child can all be an amulet.Wear the amulet around your neck or keep it in your pocket at all times for added protection and only take it off when it needs clearing. You will know when it is not working as you will feel it. Always trust in your instincts.
14)HAVE A BATH WITH ESPOM SALTS OR SEA SALT
This has the power to cleanse your aura and any bad energy that may be harmful. If you feel you’ve been cursed, attacked or over sensitive, light some candles and draw a warm bath and soak your whole body in the warm water even the back of your head. While doing this think only of positive, kind and encouraging thoughts as you have a nice, long soak, imagining you are once again in your mother’s womb. When you step out of your soak you will feel relaxed, energized and re-born again.
15) SAGE YOUR HOME, SPACE AND BODY
As I do a lot of Feng Shui and ghost busting in homes, properties and spaces I will always, when doing type of clearing or spirit rescue, smoke the house or property out with some sage mixed together with gum leaves. Sometimes if the energy is really toxic and heavy I will do this a couple of times as it often works in layers. This will clear the negativity energy is an old shamanistic practice passed down by the indigenous people. Some people also believe Mugwort, wormwood and Vetiver are said to be particularly powerful when it comes to warding off bad spirits and breaking curses, you might want to carry some around with you. Fill up a small cloth sack with the herbs and tie it around your waist or put it in your pocket.
16) LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE
Whenever I am feeling down, sad or at breaking point I will always take myself off to the movies and lose myself in a movie, go and see a comedy show or spend time with people I love or are like minded that are on my level and make me feel good. Black magic takes its power from negative energy, and its opposite, positive energy, has the power to weaken it. In this case, laughter really is the best medicine, because you can use it quite effectively against any type of curse. You don’t need a ritual or a spell: just your own well of positive energy. When you feel the effects of the curse around you, think of something funny and laugh. Focus entirely on a funny video or book and let yourself fully enjoy how it makes you feel.When you’re confronted by the person you suspect cast a spell upon you, smile and be friendly because acting if you are not affected in anyway will make them think they have no hold over you what so ever. If you are not able to cope with what is going on in your life, go and see a spiritual healer, hypnotherapist or someone that is trained in energy as a light worker as they are trained in this area and can clear negative energy without any problems.
